In order to support and deliver the University鈥檚 mission it is Research and Innovation鈥檚 strategic intention to drive the exploitation of research and knowledge transfer opportunities in order to deliver significant added value to the University, the wider economy and community.

Research and Innovation will:

  • maintain and develop organisational capabilities
  • create, enable and communicate research and knowledge transfer opportunities
  • provide information and intelligence.

Research and Innovation鈥檚 activities are:

  • winning funding and generating income for University activities and projects aligned with the University鈥檚 intentions and ambitions
  • generating new knowledge and supporting the generation of new knowledge in the University and with partners
  • exchanging, transferring and exploiting knowledge for the economic, social and environmental benefits of the University, staff, the city, the region and wider.

The 探花视频 is committed to engaging the public, academics, students, and stakeholders with research.

Our researchers work with a diverse range of communities and publics from in and around the city of 探花视频 to communities right across the globe.

We understand the benefits of engaging people throughout the research process, from understanding what matters most to people and prioritising research areas, co-creating research and sharing research findings to those who directly benefit from them.

The public engagement team work across the University to provide advice and support, training and funding for engaged activities.
