International scholarships

To recognise outstanding achievement, the University of Plymouth offers scholarship schemes to help fund your studies. You could receive up to 50% off your tuition fees in your first year.
 

Entry requirements

Undergraduate

We require applicants to have completed the General Secondary School Certificate (‘Shahadat Al-Thanawaya Al-Aama’) and an international foundation year or equivalent. Our partner college on campus, University of Plymouth International College (UPIC) offers a wide variety of foundation courses.

Postgraduate

We require applicants to have completed the البكالوريوس bachelor degree from a recognised institution with the following degree classification:
Kuwaiti degree classification CGPA out of 4.00
3.67 - 4.00 Distinction 1st
3.01 - 3.66 Very good 2:1
2.60 - 3.00 Very good 2:2

English language requirements

A recognised English language qualification (e.g. IELTS) would be required or successful completion of one of the University of Plymouth's pre-sessional English language courses.

I believe that the courses at Plymouth are some of the best in the world, especially the maritime courses. I would suggest that students make the most of the lecturers and materials available on the course and make as many connections as possible.
