International scholarships

To recognise outstanding achievement, the University of Plymouth offers scholarship schemes to help fund your studies. You could receive up to 50% off your tuition fees in your first year.
 

Entry requirements

Undergraduate

We require applicants to have completed a Federal Secondary School Leaving Certificate, which is known as one of the following:
· Certificat de Maturité / Certificat de Maturité Cantonal reconnu par la Confédératio
· Maturität / Eidgenössisch anerkanntes kantonales Maturitätszeugnis
· Attestato di Maturità / Attestato di Maturità Cantonale riconosciuto dalla Confederazione

We require applicants to have completed Diplom/Diplôme; Lizentiat/Licence; Staatsdiplom/Diplôme d'Etat OR a Fachhochschule Diplom (FH)/Hautes Écoles Specialisées Diplôme OR a bachelor degree (post-2001) with the following classification:

English language requirements

A recognised (e.g. IELTS) would be required, or successful completion of one of the University's pre-sessional English Language courses.

Find out what our students think

I am someone who loves adventure and meeting new people, so I was eager to have a new experience living in a new country. The University helped me tremendously with settling in – I was able to meet new people at the events they held for international students.

The University of Plymouth offers a wide range of opportunities. There is also a lot of support on offer for international students to help cope in a different cultural environment.

Being an international student here feels very welcoming. I have made friends from all over the world due to the high international population. I have had the chance to learn about different cultures and world views.
