About Angela
I moved into teaching following 10 years as a postdoctoral researcher, having spent time in Florida and Plymouth. I am still very much involved in research, along with the supervision of PhD students, as well as teaching. As part of my teaching role, I am the Stage One Lead for the Environmental and Chemistry undergraduate programmes and module lead for GEES1302 (Soils, water, Climate) and GEES2301 (Environmental Field & Research Skills).
Teaching
My teaching interests cover Environmental and Analytical Chemistry with a focus on inorganic water chemistry, in both the freshwater and marine environment. These feed into the following modules/areas:
- Soils, Water, Cliamte (GEES1302; Stage 1, BSc Environmental Science / BSc Environmental Management and Sustainability)
- Environmental Field and Research Skills (GEES2301; Stage 2, BSc Environmental Science / BSc Environmental Management and Sustainability)
- Fieldwork and dissertations in Environmental Science (GEES3305; Stage 4)
- Fieldwork and dissertations as part of MSc Environmental Consultancy and MSc Sustainable Environmental Management and MSc Applied Marine Science (within the School of Biological & Marines Sciences),Â
