Offer Holder Days are all about giving you a closer look at what studying at Plymouth could really be like.
They're tailored for students who already have an offer with us, you'll dive deeper into your course, meet the people who'll be teaching you, and chat with current students about their experiences.
You'll also get the chance to explore the campus, check out the city, and see what life here is all about.
Please note: Not all subjects are represented at every event. When you complete the booking form, available dates for your course will be shown.

Offer Holder Days

6  Invite-only events for those who have received an offer from us, whether that be conditional or unconditional.
6  Experience in-depth course talks, taster sessions and hands on activities allowing you to spend time with future classmates and meet the academics that will be teaching you.
6  Speak with our Accommodation Team, Admissions Team and Student Support Services to discuss any individual requirements specific to you and your application so you can get the answers you need.
6  Explore your future home with a guided campus tour and city tour and ask current students any questions you have about their favourite spots.

Open Days

6  Open invite events to anyone wishing to find out more about the University of Plymouth.
6  Find out more about the courses we offer by attending subject talks, drop-in sessions and facility tours.
6  Explore our Support Services and attend talks to find out more about Accommodation, Funding, Student Life and much more.
6  Speak with our Admissions team about your application and get advice on how to apply, including how to write your personal statement and the UCAS application process.
6  Take a tour around our campus and our city to get a flavour of what the city of Plymouth has to offer.

Can you help me with travel costs?

Rail discount

You could get over half price* off rail fare for your Offer Holder Day visit.
We are delighted to offer you an 20% discount on Advanced Purchase tickets** with Great Western Railway. Railcards can also be used in addition to the discount which could offer you over 50% discount in total. Further information on how to redeem this can be found in your booking confirmation email or by emailing studentrecruitment@plymouth.ac.uk.
*The over half price discount is calculated using the 20% GWR discount and any discount from a valid railcard. Without a valid railcard, the discount will be 20%.

Bus discount

As part of a partnership with Plymouth Citybus we are offering the opportunity to park and ride for free at the (PL6 7HB) for people that hold an invitation to our open day. Please use the 42C service direct from the George Park and Ride to the University of Plymouth. This service operates every 30 minutes from 7am until 7pm, then every hour until 10.59pm.
All you need to do is show your invitation to the open day to the driver on the date in question and this will grant you access to the 42C service. This offer is valid for the invitation holder, and any additional passengers will be charged accordingly a single ticket is £3, a day ticket £7 adult and £5.50 child (up to the age of 18).
Please be aware, there are planned roadworks and building plans happening this year near the George Park and Ride. We advise all visitors using the Park and Ride to expect slight delays with the bus service as well as traffic going in and out of the Park and Ride.

Hotel discount

We have teamed up with local hotels to offer a discounted stay for guests visiting one of our offer holder days:

Crowne Plaza Plymouth is only a ten minute walk from the main campus and is located on Plymouth Hoe with stunning sea views. Visitors can receive a 20% discount off the Best Flexible Rate including breakfast! Reservations must be made using the link provided and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or bookings made via third party websites. .
Leonardo Hotel Plymouth
Just a stone’s throw from our Plymouth campus, visitors can receive a 20% discount from our Best Flexible Rate when booking directly on the Leonardo Hotel website. Please visit and enter PLYMUNI25 into the promotional code box. Please note that all bookings need to be made directly via the website. The discount will not be applied to any existing promotional rates. The discount cannot be applied retrospectively to any bookings made on sale rates or third party websites.
Please show your open day registration email upon check-in as proof of attending one of our offer holder day events.

What happens after I book on to an Offer Holder Day?
Once you have booked your place, we will keep in contact with you via email to provide you with all of the details needed for your event. You will be emailed a copy of the programme one week before to help you plan your visit.

What if I am unable to attend any of the Offer Holder Days?
