The Big Green Trail on Saturday 21 June aims to get everyone active with free, fun and inclusive activities across ̽»¨ÊÓƵ that can be accessed by bike, bus, ferry or on foot.
From sock puppetry, wildflower planting and bookmark making to foraging walks, scrap sculpture crafting and 360° camera nature filming, there’s plenty on offer to entertain, inspire and connect people with nature and local green projects.
There are over 40 different organisations and local community groups involved in the trail, coming together to celebrate their projects and put on engaging activities for everyone to get involved with.
You can even travel around The Big Green Trail for free by catching the Trail bus which will stop at each of the six locations including the Park & Ride at Milehouse. You can also get 15 minutes free riding on the Beryl e-bikes, so why not hop on a bike and cycle to the next stop!
Visit our six trail stops to join in with these activities and collect a trail stamp at each place: The Box, The Barbican (Mayflower Steps), Union Street (The Plot), Royal William Yard, Devonport Park and Central Park.
Green Communities and the ̽»¨ÊÓƵ are two of the city partners supporting this event. Visit the for more information, including the trail route.
